A Call to Hu-Manity: Rediscovering Unity and Divine Connection
Many things make a loud call to humanity and strongly invite us to unity, at least if we hear the calls.
Let’s open our ears to the calls coming from the One to us, reaching from the “we” to us. All things happen for a reason, and we experience all of them because our souls have become deaf and our energy fields have become greedy. Against all odds, there is a cry from Creation with the still-loving words of a friend who thinks about us more than we do ourselves.
Earthquakes have shook the earth, tornados have whipped the air into a destructive force, fires have consumed the forests, and wars have torn us apart. All these were serious warnings but still as gentle as they could be. They tried to just pinch us and give us a wake-up call. Nature nudged us with its magic wand in order to awaken our souls, telling us to stop all the disasters we were creating. People, wake up and face the truth. The time is now. It’s the time to act like humanity rather than like a spoiled kid. Humanity is kind, so people must be kind to each other and towards all of creation.
The power of humanity is hidden within the term. If only it knew it¦
The name of the omnipotent God in Sufism is “Hu,” and it divinely intertwines all the secrets of creation in humanity. In turn, a “Hu-man” is someone who is constantly with his or her Creator. As expressed in many of the Hadiths and Suras of the Quran; “God is closer to us than our jugular vein.” We are Hu-man beings, inseparable from our Creator, so we are closely connected with Creation. Although we may appear different, we are all essentially the same and equal. Stop looking up and bow your head to see the truth, my friend. This is the only way to pass through the gate of unity. The more you bow down, the more you become united and one.
People act as our mirrors, and we usually prefer to see our nightmares in them. How you see is how you look, and it varies depending on where you look. Are you gazing from the rooftop of your fears or through the heart of your love? Let your love’s tears wash away your fears and then come along and join our tribe, the human tribe of love and togetherness. This is not a religious rhyme or the teachings of a scholar—this message comes directly from the source of divine truth. Nevertheless, you can see this in religious teachings about non-violence and surrender, such as when Jesus said, “But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.” It’s also seen in sayings about sharing, such as “Do not sleep with a full stomach while your neighbor is hungry,” while mutual respect is expressed through teachings like, “Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.” Such things have been mentioned by the great consciousness of humanity through the ages, but did we hear them? I guess not, otherwise we would all be taking responsibility and getting a grip.
So, what is this responsibility?
It’s as simple as being a Hu-man and being One with all of creation and existing constantly with your Creator. Being human is your greatest undertaking and your main role in this chapter, so you should act accordingly. You’ve been given so many attributes by God, but are you aware of them? Do you know what you are made of? Do you think you’ve been created just to consume air and food as you spend some precious time on planet Earth? No my dear friend, you have not. Instead, you have a deep meaning in life with a tough mission to accomplish. That’s basically what being a human is all about.
So, how human are you?
We all hear companies announcing the sacking of thousands of employees, brands collapsing, and shops closing for good. I see people shopping madly all around and buying more than they’ll need to build up stockpiles. Watch out people, this is the real test. Isn’t this the reason why we are here today? Isn’t it the same attitude causing all this chaos and turmoil? Do you think it’s wise to all act like this? It’s definitely the time to change our behavior and transform our reality. We can do it. All we need is already within us, it exists inside our veins, closer even.
I do not care about the conspiracy theories. It does not matter who created this virus and for what political or economic reasons. I only care about my humanity. How humanly can I react to all these events? In the end, only one thing matters: How Hu-man am I?
A call to all Hu-manity
I am a Hu-man being who lives on this planet, my only home. I am fully aware of my attributes as a human, and I am very grateful for them. My religion, my nationality, and my ethnicity does not matter, as I see everything as one. We are all unique in our essence, and I love all creation for the sake of my Creator. I therefore invite all of humanity to recognize their human side and feel the unity. Please acknowledge it and live it—do not abandon it.
